Privacy Policy
This policy describes how Rocky Dev Co (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in connection with this website.
1. What this policy covers
This policy covers rockydevco.com only: the pages you are reading and the client work order form.
It does not cover our software products or the platforms we build and operate for clients. Those have their own terms and privacy policies, and if you use one of them, that policy governs your use of it, not this one.
2. What we collect
What you send us. If you submit the work order form, we receive what you typed into it: your company or organization, the platform or project, your name, work email, phone number if you provide one, the request type and priority you chose, the title and description of what you need, what happens today, and your desired timeframe. We also record when you submitted it.
Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard request information, including IP address, the page requested, timestamp, browser type and version, operating system, and referring page. These logs exist to operate and secure the site.
Email you send us. If you write to us directly, we have your message and your email address.
That is the complete list. There is nothing else.
3. What we do not do
We set no cookies. This site does not use cookies for any purpose, including analytics, advertising, or preferences. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.
We run no analytics or tracking. No Google Analytics, no pixels, no session recording, no heat maps, no third-party tags of any kind. We do not know which pages you visited or how long you stayed.
We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. We do not build advertising profiles and we do not run automated decision-making or profiling on anything you send us.
We do not send marketing email you did not ask for. If you submit a work order, we reply about that request. We do not add you to a mailing list.
4. How we use information
We use what you send us to:
(a) read and respond to your request, and prepare a written scope for it;
(b) contact you about that request, by email or phone;
(c) keep a record of work requests and the scopes we issued;
(d) operate, secure, and troubleshoot the site; and
(e) comply with the law and enforce our rights where we have to.
5. Who we share it with
Service providers. We use third parties to run this site and handle submissions: Vercel Inc. for hosting and server logs, Supabase, Inc. for storing work order submissions, and Resend for delivering the notification email that tells us a request arrived. They process this information on our behalf, under their terms, and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
Legal. We may disclose information where required by law, subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or where necessary to investigate fraud or a security incident, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Rocky Dev Co or others.
Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, information may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to confidentiality protections.
No one else.
6. Do not send us health or sensitive information
The work order form is not a secure channel for patient data, health records, or other regulated information. Please do not include protected health information, patient identifiers, government identification numbers, financial account numbers, credentials, passwords, or API keys in any field.
We work with clients in healthcare and other regulated industries, so this matters: Rocky Dev Co is not acting as a HIPAA business associate in respect of this website, and no business associate agreement covers anything you type into this form. If your request involves regulated data, describe it in general terms and we will set up an appropriate channel before you send any detail.
If you send us sensitive information anyway, tell us at support@rockydevco.com and we will delete it.
7. How long we keep it
We keep work order submissions for as long as we are in contact about the request and for a reasonable period afterwards, so that we have a record of what was requested and what scope we issued. If a request does not become an engagement, you can ask us to delete it and we will.
Server logs are retained on our hosting provider’s standard schedule, which is short, and are used only for operating and securing the site.
8. Security
The site is served over TLS. Submissions are stored with access limited to the people at Rocky Dev Co who need to read them in order to respond. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we do not collect more than we need, which is the most effective protection available.
9. Your choices and rights
Access, correct, or delete. Write to support@rockydevco.com and ask. We will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it.
State-specific rights. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable law, including rights to access, correct, delete, restrict processing of, or port your personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. Use the same address and we will respond within the time the law requires.
Do not submit the form. Everything we hold about you, you chose to send. You can email us instead, or not at all.
10. Children
This is a business-to-business website. It is not directed to children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. International visitors
This site is operated from the United States and information is stored and processed there. If you visit from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to the United States, which may have data protection laws different from those where you live.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. If we make a material change, we will update the effective date and version at the top of the page. The change applies going forward, not retroactively.
